The Netherlands has a new anthem for empowerment and diversity! It’s the beautiful hopeful song ‘Yu no man broko mi’ written and performed by Jeangu Macrooy at Eurovision Song Contest 2021!
“It’s inspired by the movements where people make it clear that they’ve kept their mouths shut long enough,” Jeangu said. “Whether it’s about Black Lives Matter or the LGBT community, we deserve to be here and we deserve respect.”
